Over the past twenty years, Portland Architectural Salvage has moved mountains of period architectural artifacts, old house replacement parts, and amazing creations from the farthest corners of design history.  Their showroom is never quiet, and few of their countless inventory items are alike.  No website could ever fully capture the dusty, chaotic, spatial serendipity of this public three-story warehouse... so we approached the website as less of an online storefront and more of an online coping mechanism.

With feedback from several key staff members, we developed a tactical site architecture that enables multiple users to upload new inventory entries from tablets or phones.   The Whole may be greater than the sum of its parts, but the parts are pretty great too... and new items are posted regularly.
